I've still got moDdy's patch and the "non-overrated" one daniele's been using - they're about 11-12Mb each, if someone has somewhere I can upload them to, I'd be happy to do that.

Cool. What changes were made to the non-overrated one? Was it just toning down the abilities of everybody? I played the original one and we were all stupidly good.

I think it was just a toning-down of stats, yeah - to prevent everyone being poached by Premiership clubs in the first season

Elmo - email them to you? steve at valin dot org?

Both uploaded into the CM Files section now. If you dont know where it is just ask

If there are anymore CM files that need hosting can add those.

Now if someone creates a CM patch for FM I may buy it

I'm now up to 2036, CMC is back in division 1 and almost everyone in the old CMC team have retired, very few are still around even as coaches or managers.

Notable exceptions are Løffe who is the manager of danish non-league team Virum Sorgenfri and The Fish who is a coach at Sheffield United

Phil Neville is ranked as the worlds best manager somehow...

By the way, QPR won the PL in 2034/35 followed by Walsall in 2035/36. QPR also won the CL in 2035/36

The european championships in 2036 had three teams from the british isles in the semi final, Poofland beat Wales 4-2 and Scotland lost 2-1 to Portugal after extra time. Poofland went on to win the finals 6-2(!) even though the game has now reached the infamous low scoring stage where teams hardly score 1 goal a game on average.

Is there any knows patch for CM 01/02 to counter the low-scoring problems by the way?

Don't think so. The CM01/02 bugs are quite funny. Has anybody encountered the one where a club doesn't sign any players? Basically after a few years they only have grey players and players who have come through their youth team.

I haven't noticed but I do notice that there are a lot of old players now (33-38 years old), some teams (often the dominating ones) are full of them.

I have fun reading their career stats, playing close to 800 matches in your career is quite amazing, then playing 150+ for the national team is even more insane

The bug I mentioned I've only noticed when the game has been going a long time. Say 2050 something like that.

The older player thing I've noticed too. In fact the amount of decent young players in the game later on is fairly noticable especially when you're the national manager trying to pick a squad. It seems that a few great youngsters come through who then stay in the team until they're in their mid 30's as nobody else can replace them.

Had to say this, Australia won the world cup in 2042 by beating Russia on penalties...

Want to know why you didn't keep me on as a coach way back when? I would have been loyal
